AbiWord crashing only on GNOME

I open AbiWord on GNOME, as long as I am typing and doing nothing else, everything is cool. But if any sort of sub-window (spell check, popup message, etc) is shown, AbiWord crashes. This ONLY happens on Gnome, if I do the same thing on Openbox, Blackbox, IceWM, it doesn't crash. Does anyone know what it is? I tried opening abiword through the terminal so that I can see some errors.. all it says is Aborted.

I think it was gnome-support that was missing. I recompiled it with:

./configure --enable-gnome

and now everything works fine.. Thanks for all the help guys.
