I turn my PC off when I don't need it, no need to waste the energy.

i usually shut mine off everyday. i used to leave it on all the time, i dont use it for heavy computing, plus it's only me so i'm not going to be putting any sort of a load on it.
As far as i concerned uptime is just how long my pc has been on ;D ;D, my windows pc stays on for weeks at a time with no problem, i dont use it that much but the uptime is still weeks ;D ;D
