    Today is a good day

Soo I think I'll sing a bit for you all:
(I hope my insurance covers damage to eardrums and other personal effects)

    When you go
You don't know what you get
You might end up all alone
    Through the night
    The darkness of my eye
You might end up all alone
    Stay tonight
I don't want you to go
I don't even know your soul
    In a dream
You come to me in the dark
You are leaning to my head
    Cause you were strong
You told me what to do
    Now I'm leaning on myself
    Stay tonight
I don't want you to go
I don't even know your soul
    Through the night
    To the morning gold
I am leaving for the stars

Yesterday was terrible, so I guess today is good compared to it.

Linux froze? Do you mean X-win or did ther kernel actually fubar out on you? If so you might want to report it to a kernel maintainer.

Here's a lovely song about my favorite food.

    Lima, lentil, soy, and pinto,
    Navy, northern, and garbanzo,
    Kidneys and frijoles negros,
    I love beans!

I love beans, woo woo woo!
I love beans, how 'bout you?
High in fiber, low in fat.
Hey, I bet you didn't know that!

When I eat beans I sit in my own little cloud.
Nobody comes to visit me in my little cloud.
I don't know why. Maybe it's 'cause I'm cuttin' muffins. Because-

I love beans, hey hey hey!
    I love beans every day!
Beans are an excellent source of protein.
    I love beans, dinky-doo!

    I couldn't tell. Here's what happens basically.

    - I use my computer
    - I go to sleep/work, so I turn my monitor off (that's it, only the monitor)
    - I come back 8-10 hours later, I turn the monitor back on and hit a key to bring the image back
    - The 'screensaver', you know, the black-blank screen doesn't go away.
    - Numlock doesn't do anything
    - Ctrl-Alt-F1 doesn't give me a console, I stay on the blank screen
    - I must finally use SysRq to sync, unmount and reboot my computer. Killing the session (SysRq + K) doesn't work.
