Today is yet another bad day, because I woke up and I had a cold*Also, Linux froze AGAIN. *I'm getting seriously pissed off! I'm gonna dump Linux and install Windows 2000!!!

I couldn't tell. Here's what happens basically.

- I use my computer
- I go to sleep/work, so I turn my monitor off (that's it, only the monitor)
- I come back 8-10 hours later, I turn the monitor back on and hit a key to bring the image back
- The 'screensaver', you know, the black-blank screen doesn't go away.
- Numlock doesn't do anything
- Ctrl-Alt-F1 doesn't give me a console, I stay on the blank screen
- I must finally use SysRq to sync, unmount and reboot my computer. Killing the session (SysRq + K) doesn't work.
