hes got 20 to sell for $65 incl shipping (they weight a ton)
i ordered one, it arrived quick and in perfect shape.
its a great way to learn Solaris8 and sun hardware.
highly recommended! one note: you need to get a
sun video out to vga adapter from www.pccables.com
to use a regular vga or svga monitor .
ps - im starting a question/answer llst for us sparc newbies.

I can't remember the exact specs but I'm positive they have a 110MHz CPU, 1 or 2 Gig HDD, CD-ROM and floppy. No monitor, keyboard or mouse. Not sure if it comes pre-loaded with an OS or not. I'm currently in the process of taking two of these form Mike.

Not bad. Can these older sparcs compile for the modern Ultra sparc machines? I'd like to port some stuff to it (Ultra) if possible. Crossing my fingers and hoping it's like the diffrence between 486 and 686 :-P.

mine has 110mhz cpu, 32 mb sca-type ram, cdrom,
    NO floppy drive, rj45 ethernet,
built in sound, com1 + com 2 ports for keyboard and mouse,
and that weird "10 wire + 3 rca jacks" video output. the adapter
to a vga or svga monitor is sometimes on ebay cheaper than at
www.pccables.com. i still havent found a sca-ram slot to simm
or dimm ram adapter. Also, heres a good sun forum

Not that I'm aware of. Ultras are 64bit, while sparcs are 32bit. It's kinda like trying to compile ia64 stuff on a p3... not quite right.
