Only advice I ever got about snow was, "If it's yellow, don"t pick it up." ;D
Nope Shoreless, it's ok to pick it up. Just don't eat it!!!

We got 30" of snow on Tuesday. And I'm finally done plowing out the last driveway and yard. Winter is here at last. Sometimes living in Minnesota can really suck.

Minnesota- The land of two seasons, Road Construction and Snowplowing.

I live in Indianapolis and we don't always get the snow that you get but we definitely have the road construction. *

I grew up in northern Michigan about a half mile from Lake Michigan so I can understand the amount of snow you get. *My parents still live there (I moved to Indy after the Navy and college about 12 years ago). *I miss northern Michigan (I love cold weather, though).

Unbelievable...Dec 1 in Waterloo ON, and no snow yet...just a lot of rain. *I can't wait for snow. *Snow == Snowboarding! *Snow is just plain fun too.
    * And the three feet of snow thing is dependent on where you live in Canada. *If you're from most places, then three feet is pretty typical. *However, if you're on the west coast then there's almost no snow. *I remember a few years back, Vancouver got somewhere around a foot of snow and declared it a city-wide emergency. *We were only four hours inland of that, but we were laughing all the same. *At the time that was happening, we had over 2 meters! *That was a freakin fun winter
Yesterday Dec 1st in NJ 68 degrees!!!! no snow , i hope we dont get snow at all this year!! i hate it! it's ironic i like ice and dont mind the cold so much , but i hate snow!!!

Blasted Ford Bronco died and won't start now. Glad I got the snow moved before it died. Found the problem, after buying un-necessary parts, Broken wire on coil. Couldn't see it until I removed coil to check resistence. Now I don't have any wire splices. Oh well, just have to wait till tomorrow to get to town,

This is one of my favorite parts of winter, Standing outside in the snow trying to put shit back together again

Sorry been away for a few days. Sorting out a few problems with a machine I built. Idiots don't know 3-phase from single phase power.

I live in the Willmar area. Land where the lakes begin. New Prague is a beuitful area. Love the rolling hills. Looks awesome in the fall with the leaves turning.

I'm in the Air Force...I would think that the local recruiter would be more than happy to see you! But...I wouldn't suggest entering now. Morale is lower than a well digger's shoes. I am an airfield manager, btw. And I don't manage airfields! Whee...I take crap from pilots all day long, even when I am right, I am wrong. Go figure. I can't wait until I get to retire...eight years and eight months!
