Just feel good that you dont live in Detroit, MI. Other than being the next worst place than hell, they decided to drop taxes and kill the city snowplow force, not to mention the speed limit signs mean nothing. If they feel like 200, they drive it. I had to go there a few times in January and April this year. It sucked. The good point is that I had a company vehicle. The bad thing is my CLEC (Amerivoice) service the ghetto people. Nothing like slidig around on ice in a van with a bunch of natives getting really pissed off for me going 45 looking for some crappy boarded up house to rig up service.

After that Chicago's worst parts seemed not all that bad. At least they plow.

If I pull out the binoculars and step out the front door of work center, I can see snow on the mountains. Or, if it is a nice, pristine, clear day, I can see the snow capped mountains from my front door. Otherwise, no snow!

I just shoveled the sidewalk, and I can see the snow on the cuff of my pants...

Unbelievable...Dec 1 in Waterloo ON, and no snow yet...just a lot of rain. I can't wait for snow. Snow == Snowboarding! Snow is just plain fun too.
And the three feet of snow thing is dependent on where you live in Canada. If you're from most places, then three feet is pretty typical. However, if you're on the west coast then there's almost no snow. I remember a few years back, Vancouver got somewhere around a foot of snow and declared it a city-wide emergency. We were only four hours inland of that, but we were laughing all the same. At the time that was happening, we had over 2 meters! That was a freakin fun winter

Hey binary boy I'll be sure to send you some snow the next time! You 'Bama boys really need to learn how to drive on the ice.

Feztaa, here in Minnesota we veiw you Canadains as slightly odd cousins. You guys understand winter like we do. Lock them hubs in and lets go! Now if only I could get people to stop driving snowmobiles around my place, ( I hate the noise, and it bothers my dogs ).
there are some places in canada that don't or barely get any snow.. like the west coast... but they're just a bunch of pussies

As to the topic, send the snow here!! I want to get out skiing!! (downhill and x-country)

Only advice I ever got about snow was, "If it's yellow, don"t pick it up." ;D
