    Re: There's NO reason!!!

Debian's my host distro for LFS. Does that count?
uhm, why are u using a "host" system when ur using LFS?
the host system is only required to build the LFS system, after that the host isn't required anymore

    Dear Resident Whiz-kid:

I am pleased to inform you that your sense of humor (or for our UK affiliates, humour) is greatly appreciated. *Now about the previous host-system post: *it was well understood by our team of expert government researchers to mean the original base system that was utilized in order to compile your LFS system (Feztux...correct?). *Please keep up the good work.

Yes, this is correct. I used to run Debian, but then I used Debian to compile and install my LFS, which I call Feztux. I haven't booted Debian since about mid-January, but it's still installed (I have no reason to uninstall it: instead of having a Debian root partition that I never use, I'd have an empty partition that I never use). It makes a good backup just in case LFS ever breaks, but that hasn't happened yet.

I tend to agree, but the problem is that we have several members who are under the age of 18. Now personally I think the human is a thing of beauty and we shouldn't be shamed to look at it. But I think certain members parents would disagree (TeRG anyone ?? ).
bah...my parents wouldnt disagree....its not porn so its fine....just as long as i dont have it at school....
