    how to connect and configure router on linux system

    hi,
    i m using red hat linux , i want to connect and configure a cisco device through linux, in windows there is hyperterminal , i come to know about minicom for linux but i dont know how to use it , pl guide me .

    do
    minicom -s

    to set up minicom

    configure the appropriate port for 9600 N 8 1
