What MB is a good one ??

I'm thinking of getting a motherboard for my AMD Athlon 800 chip. A few major requirements are

a) must be fully supported by Linux
b) DDR only DIMM slots
c) Will be my work horse so quality is a MUST with reasonable price increase tolerable.
d) SCSI or IDE; no RAID is required

So, please give me a hand on choosing the right hardware and some nice links to check it out ... come on guys .. I know some of you are hardware fanatics so spit that site name out !!!!

I'm thinking of either This Gigabyte 7VTXE+ or
this Asus A7M266 board.

Although Asus is only $ 17 more expensive than Gigabyte is, the features wise, Giga seems to be more bulks for the bucks ....

I didn't ...

What I did was Modify and see the "no thread" error and took me to the modify screen but when I posted it, it created a new thread .... It must have been when I was modifying it, you moved it ....
