DivX ;) Audio format and Frame rates

I haven't figured out how to record DivX movies in Linux yet, but I'm doing it in Windows right now and I was wondering if anybody could suggest some Windows (or Linux) software that could record TV shows in DivX format?

    Thanx

Ralinx: I'm not talking about playing. I'm talking about recording.
