    K-Meleon Browser

Well, it's said to be based on Mozilla engine and version 0.9.6 but this one runs hella fast on my Windows 2K test box with P 233 and 64 MB of RAM. It's faster than IE 6.0 I have right now.

This might as well be the beginning of serious competition to IE if K-Meleon can handle many plug in issues which I haven't had time to test them out yet ...

So far, looking good .... 8)

I found it via google, but I thought it was fun that Compunuts tells us about "cool piece of software A" and fails to provide a link so we can check it out ourselves...

Yeah, I tried K-meleon a while ago. Seems to be dead in the water now.. I've been waiting for Java/Flash support, and better CGI stuff. It was really dying on CGI....

I tried the Windows version and it works well with CGI that I've tried but you are correct about Flash though ...
