where the f*ck is KDE 2.2.2 ?

It was set to be released first the 12th and now the 19th... It's a day late.. Is someone sick, or is there a major code problem ?

I certainly hope there is nothing majorly wrong, with anyone or anything - but I'm SOO looking forward to this release.

Maybe they just have problems hitting their very ambious release dates.. To bad.

I used to be involved with a software development team (making a mod for HalfLife), and I can tell you - it's hard to accurately predict when you will release something. You never know when somethings going to terribly wrong of if you will run into big problems.

I'd also like to say that the KDE people are working for free (AFAIK...), and are doing this out of the bottom of their hearts. Cut them some slack

I couldn't find any announcements on the kde site about a release date. Where did you read that at?

I got it installed. Packages are available at SuSE already. ;D

no release announcement yet on their site yet i'm downloading the source tarballs for kde 2.2.2 right now
