I just went to windrivers.com and guess what? They started to charge people for membership to use the site. That's disguisting. How many of you would pay them to download some drivers? I will just go straight to the manufacturer's site from now on.

I always try to go to the manufacturer's sites, since any site that doesn't charge for their services will probably have to in the future. This keeps me from getting a big surprise, like you did!

i hate internet.com - they did the same thing to sysopt as LNO - i.e. fired the staff that runs it and started it. BTW - it is now www.techIMO.com - more of a hardware site. there are quite a few Linux users there too.

Right now Pinehead is hosting the site for free (actually in exhange for the link above), so the we don't even need money to run the site.
However, we need to keep Pinehead in business, so if you need a site hosted, please consider them.
