    Linux Kernel Book

Have you guys ever read a book on the Linux kernel? I've found
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...100659-1890437 (understanding the linux kernel) and http://www.thinkgeek.com/stuff/books/3292.shtml (linux core commentary) and don't know which one would be more helpfull (or even a diffrent one...).

What do you want to do exactly? If you want to learn mroe about system programming, forget Linux, get the book about BSD.

I really want to learn more about kernel arch and programming. Like how you go about planning and implementing a kernel.

So Design and Implementation Of the 4.4 BSD would be a better book to learn how to do system coding than the others?
