yup, it's the only distro i like
slackware's recent troubles is one of the reasons why i started using LFS.

You could try FreeBSD. Very nice OS and it's much more stable.

RalinUx 1.0 is very stable and super fast
but i really wanna give FreeBSD a try though, i've wanted to install it for a long time now, but i think i'm gonna wait till i get a new computer (which will be another 8 months or so unfortunately) cuz right now i don't have the space for another OS

edit: another problem is time. i don't really have that much time these days with college and all and i've got exams coming up. i might be able to find enough space on my HD to install it but then it would just sit there and i would be able to check it out once in a while but if i install it i really wanna get to know it and that's something i don't have time for

uhm, debian is not better than other distro's. the quality of a distro just depends on what the user likes.. nothing else
