I don't know if anyone posted this allready but I'll do it anyways :-P ....

I emailed info@slackware.com and got a quick reply about whats going on. The forum had a recent increase in trolls, and since they have used phorum, they didn't exactly have the kind of power that a phpboard or yabb has. Secondly, they do have a team of developers. Patrick is the only paid developer while the rest of the guys do it as a hobby. If Patrick wasn't getting paid then Slackware might as well become debian :-D.
