    Oh my freakin' g0d

I just installed the 2.4.18-pre3-mjc3 kernel tree, and man does this own.

    It has (amongst other things):

    ATA driverset updates
    0(1) scheduler
    Preemptive kernel patch
    Lock breaking
    Mini low latency patch
    Rik' reverse map VM 11b

it's so stable, compare to any recent kernel I've tried on my LFS system, I mean I've tried EVERYTHING, and still it remains stable - and not only is it stable, it's fast and responsive.

I DARE you to break this sucker !!

Sounds like Linux is catching up with FreeBSD. Well... in the kernel department at least.

Marcello 0wnz j00!! Linus Torvalds (F.K.A. Linyos Torovoltos, a soviet computer hacker) has NO sk1llz for kernel maintenance. Any intelligent person would use CVS and allow more than one person to commit to the tree.

I'm 18 and I know what I'm doing: I'm mast.... errr.... coding all over the place! (Ruby!!!)

And you'll notice he is much better than Linus at maintaining a stable kernel!

I wonder if I could teach myself how to be a master kernel hacker like those guys in 11 months or less. Then I could be l33t like Marcel

    (I'm turning 18 in November)

You just need a Linux Kernel for Dummies book.
