    KDE 3.0 Release Candidate 1 is out

    No release note though, and no changelog... so it's hard to tell what's been changed.. ;D

    Get it while it's hot..

    To all who have used KDE 3 betas...is it that much nicer than 2.2.x? I'm really tempted to check it out once I get internet, but then again I'll be incredibly short on time to tinker with it.

    To all who have used KDE 3 betas...is it that much nicer than 2.2.x? I'm really tempted to check it out once I get internet, but then again I'll be incredibly short on time to tinker with it.
    It is much better than 2.2.x, but it is still beta. I wouldn't suggest using it for anything but tinkering or just checking it out. When it goes final, it is going to be very nice!

    Not really, not a whole lot of people know about it yet.
    While that is no doubt true, I couldn't start downloading it until Wednesday or Thursday. By that time, they should be chockablock full of users!

    It turns out KDE3 RC1 is flawed, kdebase won't compile, it must have been rushed.

    He didn't... was the one who told me that it was flawed... Notice the time gap between the two posts...

    First... Ralinx happy... RC1 is out, starts compiling
    Secong... Next morning, Ralinx notices that kdebase failed to compile... Ralinx unhappy... Ralinx complain to LC
