Which VGA card should I keep !!

I'm debating here......

ATI Raedon 64 MB SDRAM vs. nVidia Geforce 256 32 MB DDR

okay...... I have to give away one since my primary reason for buying one more is that I needed to built a box for my friend. Which one is better and why??

id keep the nvidia ddr bec: nvidia is a WAY better brand, ati is known for its incompatibilities.
its like comparing a cadillac to a daewoo, imho

Thats a hard one. It depends on what kind of box your building and which Geforce it is. If it is a G1 or 2 I would keep the ATI Radeon 64 (as long as you can get DRI working), if it's is a G3 I would keep the Geforce.

Nah ... I decided to keep the Geforce ( it's II BTW ) ....

Main reason .... the ATI display is fscked up ..... it will not correctly display on my monitor and it will not do more than 800x600 on my 17" Monitor which the Geforce did it 1280x1024.

And the actual display and default display are all way off ... I mean if I adjust my monitor to show correct BIOS boot up screen, the ATI display almost 20% off to the right ... If I adjust it to the screen display, the BIOS boot up is about the same percentage off to the left ........

Oh well, which makes my decision earsier..... ;D
