Hello,

i am new to this forum and i have some problems with bridges. I have 3 laptop where they use RH 7.3 and 2 of them are used as a GW where the wlan0 and the eth0 are bridged-br0. The fact is that i want to put a firewall at the wireless side wlan0. To do this i downloaded the ebtables-br-nf Kernel patch. Everything was ok with the firewall except the fact that the mobility protocol i am working on is not working properly because of the patch. Now i am thinking to leave the bridge and put by own routing tables.
Can this be done?In other works can i replace a bridge with my own routing tables and how?
