Most OS's also have a system profile in /etc that you can add it to and allow all users to have it in their path.

Oh well it dont really matter because half way thru compiling kdebase i got an error message that my partition was FULL!!!!!!
Ouch! Partition Full... Holy cow now what do you do to fix that short of deleting stuff does LINUX allow for on the fly partition growth? Or are we stuck with reformatting and going clean copy?
