    Kick ass!  Linux at work

Finally got my linux box (mandrake 8.2) at work to log into the win2k domain here and access the shares and printers, so its all linux for me at work now!

One thing that is seriously annoying though, mozilla cannot access a certain part of my website (www.thenerds.net) the e-account section. I put in email/pass and it brings me back to same page..... but besides that all good!

find and install an older version of Netscape (like 4.x) and it should work

Well almost a full day at the office on my new linux box.

*Lets see, opened excel files and word files and printed them
*Got rid of that slow POS Mozilla in favor of light and quick Opera. But Mozilla saves user/pass and can set page as http://userass@www.thenerds.net and it works, where opera still makes me type in user/pass each time and cant save user/passes for sites
*All and all what a fun day! So much better than win2k to use, except IE does everything where opera i gotta type a little more, but oh well.

You would rather have your browser type in your password?! Ich! That's a little security hazardous, don't you think?

Well yes actually.. Since I work at a computer retailer, I am constanty openign up our site as well as other distributors which all require passwords and are very annoying to type in with the differnet characters and such. But oh well, I am happy!

Thats good! It also helps when you dont have MS-VB apps that are god awful, and run like crap on wine.
