    I noticed you were in a channel for Slack on irc. I'm curious if there's been any word on whether or not the forums arer going to return, and if they are when?

    No word as of yet, from what I've heard they will most likely be down for quite sometime. As Patrick didn't want to deal with them anymore.

    Just to let you guys know, I have offered to host the Slackware forums for Patrick as of seeing this post tonight. I don't have a clue whether he'll even be the slightest bit interested, but I threw it out there just in case. If he is interested, the two forums would be seperated, I would move that to a distro specific Forum.

    That's a nice gesture, but I don't think he'd be a bit interested because from what I've heard he shut them down because it's been something he's been wanting to do for quite some time.
