User support? I would say you need to first learn apps your users use. Then, you could always search for a book on Solaris.
Well boys/girls, I'm getting a promotion at work! From pc 98/NT support to Unix support! Sun stations with Solaris!
SO! Where would be some good sites to go and learn up on Unix? They are going to be giving me some on the job training, but I would like to learn as much as I can!

Not so much User support. More just systems support. I don't really need to know the apps we use, becuase we build most of them our selves.

Obviously, you have not been to the BSDvault Links section...

Don't forget, SunOS (Solaris) derived from BSD, even tho it's closer to SYS V now.
