Well, I am learning Perl at present. I am pretty good with simple html. I would like to learn C as well, but first comes Perl.

Its been quite some time since I was seriously learning programing. The last CS class I took was Fortran.

Ask questions about C++, C, VHDL, Abel, Java, Pascal and assemblers for microcontrollers, then. What have we got here ? Nothing, but Perl, Python, Ruby and O'Caml all the time. Interpreted languages are boring...

O'Caml is native compiled and I think interpreted languages are cool. Programming is cool. Period. Who cares if it's compiled or interpreted?

Correction, Perl is considered to be interpretted-compiled. In theory, if you could get a core dump of a Perl program just before it runs, the resulting core would be a compiled, executable version of the program to be run.
