I agree... the community needs more hackers.

I'm learning C++, but not very fast.

I agree, GnuVince. *Thus, I will dust off my pocket protector and start learning C! *(I'm sorry, but my wife says that everytime I start messing around with my computer, it was in no way meant as sarcassem. *I am indeed going to start learning C programming...tomorrow, in fact.)

TaeShadow: Do you have an idea? I'm all for it if you do!

(I'm also thinking we could do the original LNO challenge, the one by TheLinuxDuck)

I agree, and I'm willing to help anyone learning. *I consider myself pretty fluent in C/C++, Scheme, and others, although I much prefer debates on logic rather than language. Language is nothing more than a means to an end. Language should never be the end in itself.

I also happen to be a Computer Science student .

I plan on becoming a BSCS student later this year. Of course, it will probably be difficult, seeings as I have a full-time job (twelve hour shifts) and a full-time family. Oh, well, life goes on. I am actually quite excited about the prospect of becoming a BSCS student.

I do a good amount of programming, I just don't talk about it much :-P. Maybe a programming challenge would be a good idea.

How about a net p2p e-book search program?

    OK. Here's my official ad:

If anyone needs help/advice with Python or Ruby, you can ask me here on the boards. *Also, if you need to be encouraged with learning program, whatever the language is (even Perl!) I'll be glad to help and to help with programming concepts.

EDIT: (If you send Jenteal VHS to my house, I can probably give you as much advice as you need/want ;D )
