    Ada looks really nice.

    I read some documents about what is Ada, who uses it, why, etc. and I must say it's pretty impressive. This link is pretty impressive too.

    Ada is an extremely strong typed language. It's often used by real time programmers.

    Ada's safety seems to be its main selling point. Though Ada looks extremely large and complex, it's also pretty interesting.

    Also, if I want to hack on my own Apache Helicopter or patch the software for my F-22, I might as well learn Ada ;D

    it has been around a long time and it is used by defense department for the most part. tis about all i know...

    Yeah. It was designed there because they needed 100% reliability (99.99% is NOT acceptable). Too bad they didn't include the coolest new features for typing systems: type inference.
