thumbnail script

I have a bunch of pics in a directory and I want to have a sript make me a html page with thumbnails of the full pics. Or maybe some kinda scrip or php template to make a photobook.

go to freshmeat.net. there is a program currently on the front page called "Pix" that does this (i haven't used it). also, search freshmeat for "album" which is another program that does the same (i have used this one). album supports "themes" so that you can change the scheme it uses for the html.
