Can Linux run PS1 games?

Okay there are emulators for Windows games is there one that will allow running PS1 games from my RH7.2 box?

Try epsxe for linux (find it on ngemu.com) or pcsx for linux,
you need to download some plugins and the psx bios but epsxe works like a charm.
epsxe dont have joystick support, but you can use joy2key
