Frozen Bubble's awesome!!!

Frozen Bubble freaking rocks!!! It's too bad that other open source games never attain this level of graphics/music/sound/gameplay. Sure, it's only 2d, but it's better looking than most 3d games out there. Sure, the idea isn't exactly original, and the gameplay is very simple, but it's all presented in a very unique manner. Oh, did I mention the music is pretty good too!

Ok, I have SDL_perl installed and not perl_SDL but I think it's the same.
So what's the problem here?? Can anyone help me out?

Thats what my roommate called it. He finds it amusing that there are superioir OSS versions of all of these popular SNES games and such.

Mhmm went to sleep, then woke up tried the same command and voila the error

*** I need perl-SDL installed

is gone...

Unfortunately I now get another error:

 **ERROR**: SDL_mixer is needed (and, by the way, version >= 1.2.2 will be needed)

I checked it and I indeed had an older version of SDL_mixer. I updated it to 1.2.4-2 but I still get this error.

Is this some sort of caching??

Like yesterday...I got an error, installed the required package but still got the error...today (with no changes made) it works perfectly. And now the same starts over again with another required package.

Yeah, I had RH7.2 on my main box when I installed it, and my box gave me the same error. Goto SDL's website and update the mixer and development package. I actually removed the devel package, and updated the mixer only. Mine works just fine.

But yeah, I forgot to chime in with that. Having the momory of a fruitfly doesnt help
