    Personal 40 bucks
    Professional 80 bucks

While its not CHEAP, I dont its THAT expensive. Developers need to eat and the 3000+ apps equate to more bang! for the buck.

If you want to talk EXPENSIVE, lets talk Computer books
    Geez those things are overpriced.

I know. I'm just raggin on SuSE since they don't provide ISO's and some of their products are really expensive. One of their server apps is something like 3k.

Trust me on this one -- I am more than willing to piss away as much on Linux (Distros + donations) as on PC books. I spend like a good $200 on linux a year (give or take) and about the same on books. Once I get a printer Ill be pissing a good $200 easily on papaer printing out crap.

Plus the last time I ran SuSE I had good experiences.

That's the reason I'm seriously thinking of buying the new SuSE. Download those 3000+ apps with a slow diap-up where you have to pay for every minute online! 80 bucks without the pain and suffering of a 56k isn't bad. (I wonder how many EUR that is? A little over 80?)

Ok, so no one needs all of the apps, but it's still better than downloading them.

Just got 8.0 installed. KDE 3.0 seems really cool so far.Comes with SB Audigy support which is nice since I have one.Had to use static configuration for my NIC as it did not work using DHCP.No big deal tho.Well, I'm going to look my new Distro over now so have fun. ;D

PS, came with Galeon and Opera. Two browsers I think are way narly.
