First I'll apologise, because I know this has been asked before, but I can't find it.
On various screen grabs I've seen there *apears* to be stuff like tail -f being out-putted to the root window. I'd like to know how. Is it more likley that it's just a transparent term or is it actually updating the root window?
Ta.
