Lovechild: I couldn't help but to notice that you have mp3's: what software do you download them with now that Napster and KaZaA are dead?
I use Napshare (gnutella). The new version (1.0) is just great

I can never seem to connect with it. Always timeout's and unreachable network.

Sometimes it's like that at first, but that's pretty much a necessary part of true peer-to-peer. You can go to www.gnutelliums.com (iirc) and get a list of currently connected IPs so that you can get online. Once you're online though, you'll amass a huge list of gnutella-using IPs. As soon as the list is sufficiently large, connecting is a breeze

I'm connected now, but nothing ever downloads. It always times out. KaZaA didn't have this problem :/

That's weird, works fine for me. I've already downloaded 637 MBs of stuff off napshare today

right, all you need to do now is make sure you allways run everything as root, open a bucket of ports to the outside world, and make you web browser crash every couple of hours, and send as much personal (passwords, creditcard numbers, etc.)info to M$ and I think you might be on to a winner there.
