Windowmaker problems...

Hey folks,

I just installed MDK 8.2 with Windowmaker and I get a segmentation fault whenever I try to run it. I am running a dual head machine (matrox g450). The only reason I say this is because I also installed MDK on my laptop and Windowmaker works fine.

Could the X server be incompatible with WM when hardware accel and dual head is on?

Can you run any other window manager?

KDE, GNOME, FVWM, Afterstep, Enlightenment....

Well, you may want to remove WindowMaker and reinstall it to make sure you have a good package. Other than that, I am not sure.

So I was able to fix my problem. Seems that windowmaker does not like the dual monitor mode I was in. I had X set up to have 2 separate desktops, instead of just one big fat one. Setting X to the latter of the two fixed everyything.
