Unzip/tar.gz files w/ mouse in gnome

    Hi,

I have RH7.2/Ximian gnome it sucks having to unzip or untar files on the command. How can I set this up w/ a click to the mouse.

I noticed that when I right-click it comes up w/ a 'script' option. How do I get this to say, tar zxvf some_file_i_right-clicked

    thanx

in my opinion i think konqueror is best for this if you dont wanna go the cli route. even on the gnome side, run konq and you can right click and extract, unzip, etc most file extensions.........
bzip2, tar, tar.gz, zip, blah blah blah........

Yeap. I also always use Konqueror for this. Before you actually extract a file ( you can do it by right-click and choose extract here menu ), Konqueror can actually display the contents of the zipped file and peek what's inside. When you think you've fot the right tar ball, you can tell it to extract there.
