Konqueror: Flash plugins

hi,

I just noticed that kongueror doesnt see any flash clips.

I downloaded and installed the Shockwave and flash plugins into
~/.netscape/plugins

then made it scan for plugins. but it still doesnt work. closed konqueror and all.

anyone know why?

Konqi needs a proper Java to use flash plugin...

Actually, you need the kdebase-nsplugins package installed. Then Konq will see the ns plugins.

First, check to see if you have the RPM on your install disks. Second, look for RedHat RPMs at rpmfind.net. Should be kdebase-nsplugins.

Java, checkout Sun's website. I never used java, but was able to get ns plugins to work with the referenced RPM under various mandrakes.
