Nice interface, mouse driven, easily configurable. I like it and use/abuse it. Unfortunately, it doesn't get the theme support that many of the other more popular wm's get. I think that gtk themes can work, but haven't had a chance to explore that part of the wm's inner workings.

Very nice. I like it almost as much as I like my beloved IceWM. It has a cool "old school" look and feel to it.

I have been reading that it can be run with IceWM.....

    Ohhhhhh.....

I didn't know that. Interesting. I like the fact that it is definitely not windows-like.

Not bad - still like WindowMaker but XFCE has a good clean look and is fast. They seem to have their share of troubles whenever I upgraded, though. Little glitches and such.

No, it is more of a CDE clone.

True...but, in my opinion, it looks better.

Hehehe, yes that it does. CDE really was butt-ugly. OpenWindows was much easier on the eyes.

    Re: What about XFce ?

XFCE is one of three desktop/window managers that I go into. IceWM and KDE are my other two choices. Ice is fast and slick, Xfce, is faster than KDE but has all KDE's usability, KDE on my system is coffee-brewing slow to load but drop-dead gorgeous. I probably go to Xfce more than the other two, and would use it more if I could find more theme matter.
