I would like the change the cursor blinking rate in Kate and the shape/color/size of the mouse pointer. Does anyone know how to do that?

That's what I'm thinking! Even if it is editing some config file, but where, what? My cursor is blinking once in every two seconds and if I move too fast I can't see where it is. Driving me nuts!Ya know, I was poking around to figure this one out -- now I wanna know!!

Yea, I've been noticing the same thing - and it's pissing me off. Via the gui config, there's a section to turn the blinking on/off, but no place to set the rate. I haven't found anything in the config files yet either.
