Dear chapppy,
Hello,
You need to install Samba !!
FYI, http://www.control-escape.com/linux/lx-samba.html
Best Regards.
I have just completed my first installation with Linux (Mandrake 10.1). I do not know how to browse my home network though. In the control center it detects my Ethernet card and calls it eth0, I am able to go through the router to my DSL modem and get on the internet. But I do not know how to browse the network, (like you would normally do in my network places with Windows). I can ping every computer on the network and it responds fine. Is their a network setup wizard I have to run or am I just missing something?
Any help would be great.
Chris

Thanks, got it. I installed samba, and linneighborhood and everything is up and running except the shared printer on my XP machine. I will post an inquiry in the hardware list.
