    Abiword

    My how this program has improved. The current version is probably the best WP I have ever used on any platform- I love it.

    I have the current version for Mac. I love how fast it is, especially considering the number of features that it has. It still rocks.

    Yes. I use Abiword mostly for writing stuff since I don't think I need the whole suite of Oo.o to start up just to write a few notes. And it reads the word docs just fine (as far as the way I use).
