    Dumb HTML question

    I have a dropdown list

    Code:
    <select name="something">
    <option>Option 1
    <option>Option 2
    .....
    <option>Option n
    how can I set it to default to, oh..lets say, Option 17?

    I feel like I should know this, but I blatently don't.

    I believe you would do this
    Code:
    <option selected>Option n</option>
