    Cheap Computer

Anyone been able to price parts to build a cheap(as in money, not parts/speed) system. I've been thinking about it and wondered if anyone else has a jump on it.

To bad they don't sell laptop parts to build your own. :-[

I think the key is what you have on hand that you don't have to buy, what you requirements are, what you'll accept as fulfilling those requirements, and, last but not least, how much money you are willing to spend. In the '60's there was a sign that was common in most speed shops: "Speed costs money- How fast do you want to go?"
