Hell all,
I have a problme bringing up the eth0 interface on a laptop running Fedora Core 3 with the 2.6.9-1.667 kernel.
I believe the nic (rhine II ) is properly installed, as I can ping the local host.
But when I do the following;
#ifconfig eth0 192.168.10.3 netmask 255.255.255
SIOCSIFFLAGS: invalid argument
I don't know what this means. I've looked around googling the error but no luck.
I get the same error from the graphical network tool system-config-network.
A cable is properly connected to the nic,
#ethtool eth0
