MSI K7N420 Pro & Mandrake 8.1

Will the MSI K7N420 Pro work under Mandrake 8.1? I'm planning on purchasing this motherboard and I can't seem to find on MSI or nVidia's site if his board will function properly. Can someone help me out?

with what chipset does it come .. via, intel, and amd should work ok ... at least it did for me ...

Does nVIDIA eveen support linux for their mobo chipsets? Or, on the flipside - the linux kernel support the nVIDIA chipsets? I am aware of the crappiness of the new nVIDiA chipsets, but I do have a feeling they will get better and more popular.

civ, your nForce works correctly? It's and AMD chipset K7N420. I'll be purchasing this board and I want to make sure of compatibility in Linux. This year I'd rather upgrade my Linux box instead of Windows .

it should work .. there is support for the amd chipsets in the kernel .. maybe you can find further information on the amd website.
