Hehehe...I've never had a VIA chipset I really liked. From Graphics to MB to Processors, I've either had or have know people who have had VIAs and I just haven't had great experiences with them.

when I upgraded my computer I bought an asus mb with via chip .. so this is my first via board and i have no problems with it .. although i never tried running it with win ..Hehehe...I've never had a VIA chipset I really liked. All was fine until I got a GeForce II. I don't know if it's GeForce II in general or this specific brand of GeForce II, but the damn thing did NOT get along with my via chipset. I had nothing but problems and lockups in both OSes. Windows is notorious for shitty AGP support on VIA chipsets, and apparently a GeForce II just complicates things.
