Scanner set up???

I have a Microtek SlimScan C3 Scanner. Went and downloaded the appropriate file from SANE. How in the world do I configure it? Went into hard drake and it has no info about the scanner at all. Running Mandrake 8.1. Thanks!

I've not set up my scanner in Linux yet (out of usb ports).
