How good is the TV-IN support in Linux nowadays??

I got a hold of an ATI All-In-Wonder Rage 128 Pro card. Its 32mb SDRAM, AGP, with a TV-Tuner on it. I understand ATI cards are sometimes a pain to get working (i've always used geforces). So my questions are?

    1) Its a 125 channel cable tv tuner. Does linux support this, and if so, how well/hard to set up?

    2) Ive seen these little warez programs for Windows that claim to descramble cable tv on your pc, do they work or does Linux even support?

    Thanks
