Sendmail Access List Problem

I recently (without warning i might add) started experiencing problems with my mail server.

No changes where made to the mail server / network settings at all when this problem arouse.

I can send mail to other users on the mail server but not to external mail servers.

The error message I get is as follows:-
The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'Mail receipient' on 2005/02/28 08:39 AM
554 <<mail.receipient@eternaldomain.co.>>... Relay operation rejected

My sendmail access file looks like this

localhost.localdomain RELAY
localhost RELAY
127.0 RELAY
127.0.0.1 RELAY
192.168.10 RELAY
192.168.2 RELAY
192.168.3 RELAY
192.168.4 RELAY

I have stopped n restarted sendmail numerous times to no avail.

Any help will be appreciated

Hello,

is your domain name is eternaldomain.co.?

IF yes then add this line in your relay host file.

RELAY eternaldomain.co.

and save it and type this command.

# make -C /etc/mail
