    GMC vs MC

As I mentioned over in the X section, I was playing with Gnome Midnight Commander) GMC. A friend of mine keeps insisting that I should get into a GUI file manager of some sort. I think he may have a long wait.

GMC is nice, but it does not seems to be as powerful or as intuitive to use as Midnight Commander (MC). I've been a MC junkie since I started using linux and I was a Norton Commander junkie in my DOS days.

Maybe I am just to set in my ways, but I think that I am going to just keep using MC and be happy.

Agreed. MC is hard to beat with its built in capabilities. Heck, its like a mini shell almost.
