    Software transparencies and WindowMaker

Using wmaker, and I want transparencies in Xchat, terms, etc. I apt-get installed gnome-core and it's dependancies but with no success.

What's Gnome core got to do with it?

Look in the man pages for your apps- for example, rxvt is made transparent with the switch -ip as in rxvt -ip.

No clue what gnome-core has to do with it, I got that off another bbs. As for the man pages, somehow man as a command didn't get installed.

Whoa! You need to get those man pages installed. They are invaluable.

Well, you can also do rxvt -help (for example) to see the different settings.
